Who's who at Boyce & Co?
Ed has been a solicitor for over 25 years and founded Boyce & Co Criminal and Motoring Solicitors (or Boyce & Co as it was then) in 1997.
Ed is a Higher Courts Advocate regularly appearing in the Crown Court as well as still representing clients before the Magistrates Court. Ed is a police station and court duty solicitor.
Dealing with all areas of criminal and motoring law Ed is a passionate advocate for all his clients.
Chris has had a varied career before becoming a solicitor. Hailing from the North East he spent 17 years in the Armed Forces serving with the Commando Helicopter Force at RNAS Yeovilton and a stint doing Anti-Submarine Warfare work. Chris was awarded the “Excellence in Reserve” trophy for his continued work as a Fleet Air Arm Reservist. His forces work took him all over the world. He has also represented the Navy in various sports from Boxing to Bobsleigh. He is a team player having played football for Yeovil Town at both the old and new Huish Park.
Over the last 20 years Chris has amassed a wealth of experience in Criminal, Motoring, Regulatory and Military law.
Philip is not only an accredited police station representative but also one of only a very few who have been successful in obtaining the status of Chartered Legal Executive Advocate. That means Philip represents clients and also acts as a duty solicitor at both the police station and at the Magistrates Court.
Philip also looks after clients with Crown Court cases with particular emphasis on complicated matters where his analytical skills, attention to detail and patience are invaluable.

Steph is an experienced police station adviser having advised thousands of clients at the police station. She is working towards becoming a legal executive and has her goal set on becoming a legal executive advocate and a duty solicitor. In the meantime, Steph will be helping out with case preparation on Crown Court cases.
